Uche Fuels Comfortable Palace Triumph at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden European adventure, Oliver Glasner's side are learning very quickly. Missing key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal direct entry to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

The match was effectively over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
